About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Catheterization Laboratory procedures and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, including Philips imaging systems and IVUS devices
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to OSHA and JCAHO standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
  • State license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Louisiana
  • 2 years of experience in Catheterization Laboratory procedures
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
