Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on GE wind turbines.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
  • Replace defective components and implement necessary upgrades.
  • Keep comprehensive records of maintenance tasks and repairs performed.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental laws and company policies.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Remain informed about the latest advancements in GE wind turbine technology and maintenance methodologies.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to the maintenance team.

Operational Effectiveness:

  • Enhance turbine performance to boost energy output and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in wind energy technology, electrical engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance, particularly with GE turbines.
    • Experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is highly advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
    • Familiarity with GE wind turbine technology and maintenance practices.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Certifications:
    • Preferred certifications include GE wind turbine certification (1.X, 2.X, 3.X, PMG, or Sierra Turbine Fundamental Certifications, Converter, Advanced Troubleshooting, and/or Differences course).
