Are you passionate about teaching and sharing your knowledge with students? We are seeking part-time theatre arts instructors to join our team at the University of Minnesota.

About the Job

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and excellence. As a part-time instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach day or evening classes in theatre arts or dance, working with talented students who are eager to learn.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging courses that meet the academic needs of our students. You will also be expected to maintain a professional presence on campus, participate in departmental events, and contribute to the development of our curriculum.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts or related field, or five years of professional experience in the industry;
  • Experience teaching advanced theatre students or certification in relevant field;
  • Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Theatre Arts or related field, or seven years of professional training and/or extensive experience in the area of specialization;
