Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Tampa, Florida.

This is a transport team assignment, working alongside a RN and a Paramedic team, providing ground and air transports between hospitals. The ideal candidate will have experience with hospital to hospital transports, airway management, medication delivery, nebulizer, O2 therapy, arterial punctures, vent management, and Neonatal/Peds procedures.

We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in critical care, pediatrics, and transports. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting
  • Work collaboratively with the RN and Paramedic team to transport patients between hospitals
  • Manage airway, ventilation, and oxygen therapy as needed
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as required
  • Document patient care and treatment in Cerner EMR
Requirements
  • Current CRT, NRP, PALS, and BLS certifications
  • 2+ years of experience in critical care, pediatrics, and transports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious)
