As a Senior Infant Educator at The Learning Experience, you will be a beacon of joy, crafting daily opportunities that align with our mission to positively impact the lives of children, their families, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide, mentor, and support less experienced educators within your classroom; exemplify best practices and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee the overall management of the classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Act as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to cultivate young minds and ignite a passion for learning.
- Implement our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum, engaging with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a manner that addresses the individual needs of each child.
- Create a secure and nurturing environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's experiences and milestones through various channels.
- Contribute to the success of your center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet objectives related to enrollment and engagement.
- Establish strong relationships with families and colleagues, fostering a vibrant environment where play and learning coexist harmoniously.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: 1 year of professional teaching experience; a minimum of six months is required.
- Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field; a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Demonstrated understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Must comply with state-specific requirements for the role.
