Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, mentor, and support less experienced educators within your classroom; exemplify best practices and provide constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the overall management of the classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
  • Act as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to cultivate young minds and ignite a passion for learning.
  • Implement our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum, engaging with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a manner that addresses the individual needs of each child.
  • Create a secure and nurturing environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's experiences and milestones through various channels.
  • Contribute to the success of your center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet objectives related to enrollment and engagement.
  • Establish strong relationships with families and colleagues, fostering a vibrant environment where play and learning coexist harmoniously.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: 1 year of professional teaching experience; a minimum of six months is required.
  • Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field; a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific requirements for the role.
