We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our General Construction team, you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and expertise to develop and execute projects that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, quality, schedule, and cost.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with system and infrastructure engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and execute projects that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations and Standards
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in project management or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in construction and infrastructure
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient technical writer
- Effective communicator and problem solver
- Knowledgeable of building codes and standards
- Experience with planning and executing projects
- Experience with scheduling software (i.e. Primavera P6, MS Project)
