We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Holiday Companies. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store's operations, including hiring, supervising, and training staff.
  • Ensure that the store is well-stocked, clean, and organized, and that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory, labor, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift.
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands.
