About the Role

Lippert is seeking a highly skilled Automation & Robotics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuits and systems, including single and three-phase up to 480V AC.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain automated machinery and systems containing relay logic, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and associated robotics.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, especially those controlled by automated systems.
  • Operate fork trucks and aerial lifts safely and proficiently.
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and rebuild tasks safely and proficiently.
  • Respond to and escalate facility maintenance calls, including plumbing, gas distribution, compressors, lighting circuits, and overhead cranes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Appropriate maintenance background and/or education history.
  • Ability to successfully complete LCI new hire safety training and refreshers.
  • Ability to pass the LCI OSHA-approved forklift-training course.
  • Ability to complete LCI Lock Out Tag Out Training, Arc Flash/Electrical Hazard Training, Fall Hazard Training, and Confined Space Training, as required.
  • Ability to complete all LCI lean training, as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Fanuc robots and controllers.
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
  • Experience with servicing HVAC equipment, filtration systems, or pneumatic compressors.
  • Ability to weld or experience with basic metal fabrication.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving issues with overhead doors.
  • Experience rigging and moving equipment with a boom or crane.
  • Experience servicing conveyor systems.
  • Experience servicing coating or blasting systems.
