Job Description

Overview

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including triage, assessment, and treatment of patients in the Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

  • Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure
  • BSN degree or higher
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the Emergency Department
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
