We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner
- Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA
- Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
- 2 years Full-time mammography experience
