Ciena Healthcare Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our food service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Implementation: Develop, maintain, and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our guests.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including procurement, sanitation, scheduling, training, talent development, and quality assurance.
- Guest Care: Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation of dietary portion of guest care plans and cooperate with other departments to identify and accommodate guests' choices, preferences, and customary routines regarding eating.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Supply Chain Management: Supervise purchasing in the dietary department specific to the facility budget and manage all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Certification: Certified Dietary Manager Certification or current enrollment in a certification course approved by the Dietary Managers Association.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prefer two-year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting focused on planning, preparing, and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.
