Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at St. Louis Children's Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IV lines, administering medications, and collecting blood samples.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU or pediatric ICU setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
