Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities, as well as their environmental factors and personal goals.

  • Utilize standardized assessments, clinical observations, interviews, and medical records to gather relevant information and establish a baseline for treatment planning.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, client-specific goals, and evidence-based practices, incorporating therapeutic activities and adaptive strategies.

  • Implement therapeutic interventions and techniques to improve clients' fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, self-care abilities, cognitive function, and emotional well-being.

  • Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance clients' independence and participation in daily activities, including self-care, work, school, and leisure pursuits.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and interventions for various conditions and populations.

  • Experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adults, and the elderly.
