Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Express Technician to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As an Express Technician, you will be responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles, adhering to express lube guidelines, and ensuring that vehicles are clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform express lube duties, including lube, oil, and filter changes.
  • Adhere to express lube guidelines and ensure that vehicles are clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
  • Report all necessary repairs to the service advisor.
  • Install completed LOF reminder stickers in vehicles.
  • Check battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid levels and refill as needed.
  • Check coolant levels and refill as necessary.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observe all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
