Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a key member of our Cytology department, you will be responsible for providing technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members, performing laboratory test procedures, and interpreting data for diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members
  • Perform simple and complex laboratory test procedures in a timely manner
  • Obtain and interpret data for diagnosis and treatment of disease
  • Perform related laboratory technology duties
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York
  • Eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous/current experience in a Cytology setting
  • Knowledge of Anatomic Pathology nomenclature
  • Previous/current experience in a customer service setting
