This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established and reputable firm in the state of New Mexico. The company is expanding its millwork team and is seeking an experienced estimator to work in their corporate office and surrounding job site locations near Albuquerque.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and bidding on millwork projects, working closely with the estimating team, customers, and subcontractors/suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of millwork assemblies, costs, fabrication, and installation methods, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and bid on millwork projects
  • Work closely with the estimating team, customers, and subcontractors/suppliers
  • Develop and maintain accurate estimates and bid documents
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of the Jaynes Millwork estimating software
  • Promote innovation and develop an ever-evolving estimating department
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in casework/millwork industry
  • 1+ years estimating experience and leading teams in the casework/millwork industry
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with various office software and estimating software
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and work under deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
