Chipton-Ross is currently seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract role in Greenville, SC. This position requires full onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a range of tasks related to Avionics, mechanical, electromechanical, and system checks for aircraft readiness.
- Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and follow written or verbal directives.
- Operate relevant equipment, conduct testing, and compile data in the specified format.
- Perform Avionics evaluations, wire routing, and system diagnostics on F-16 aircraft before delivery; implement adjustments, modifications, and replacements as instructed; prepare necessary compounds and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of Avionics experience, specifically with fighter aircraft, ideally F-16s.
- Proven experience on the flight line.
Educational Background:
- Must possess an accredited High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with a 4/10 work schedule.
- Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
