Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Regency at Bluffs Park. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve palatable, nourishing, well-balanced diets to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each resident.
    • Assist with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
    • Prepare food items according to standardized recipes ensuring safe food handling practices.
  • Food Handling and Safety
    • Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
    • Cleans dishes, utensils, and equipment according to facility procedures.
    • Runs and maintains dish machine according to manufacturer directions.
  • Resident Care
    • Verifies that each resident is receiving the correct diet and tray.
    • Loads trays onto tray carts for delivery throughout the facility.
    • Delivers tray carts to dining areas and resident units.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Maintains food service workspaces in clean and safe condition at all times according to facility procedures.
    • Cleans workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to department procedures.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicates with supervisor throughout shift.
    • Assists the Culinary Manager with state inspection preparation.
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Prefer one year experience as a food service aide in an institutional food service setting.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. The Dietary Aide must be able to lift, carry, and move food and equipment as needed.
