Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and develop essential documentation such as BDDs, FDDs, TDDs, and Mapping Documents.
- Assist in the creation of Test Strategy and Test Plan documents.
- Translate requirements into Test Scenarios and Test Cases to facilitate Functional, System Integration, and Regression Testing.
- Ensure comprehensive end-to-end business process testing is conducted for the relevant process areas.
- Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track requirements throughout the testing process.
- Proactively communicate any risks or issues to the test manager.
- Create and manage defects, support defect triage, and perform retests as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize Test Management tools (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/Worksoft) effectively.
- Coordinate with offshore team members to guarantee timely deliverables.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Over 10 years of experience in testing SAP applications, specifically in SAP FICO, with knowledge of integrations with SD, MM, PP, etc.
- A strong background in FICO with at least 7-10 years of testing expertise, including a thorough understanding of end-to-end business process flows and integration points.
- The ability to comprehend configuration and ABAP code to identify root causes and assist in resolving defects.
- Experience with Test Management tools (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/Worksoft).
- A minimum of 2-3 projects involving S/4 HANA Testing, including experience with ECC to S/4 HANA migration and implementation projects.
- 3+ years of experience in a Testing Lead role, particularly with ECC migration to S/4 HANA.
- Experience in both offshore and onsite delivery models.
- Proficiency in collaborating with Project Managers to define scope and create Test Strategy and Test Plan documents.
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Preferred certification in SAP or S/4 HANA FICO.
- The ability to work independently, whether onsite or remotely, with a willingness to travel for client engagements as required.
