Job Overview

The Spa Concierge is a key role within Marriott International's luxury hospitality team. This position requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch service to guests.

Responsibilities include scheduling services, confirming appointments, answering questions about available services, and updating reservations/cancellations lists. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with supervisors/managers to resolve scheduling issues as needed.

This role also involves promoting and selling spa/salon services, processing guest payments, and obtaining payment authorization when necessary. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for accepting and logging cash tips for employees, balancing receipts with accounting, and notifying engineering of maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system.
  • Confirm scheduled services with guests and answer questions about available services.
  • Update reservations/cancellations list throughout the day and inform providers of last-minute changes.
  • Promote and sell spa/salon services to increase revenue.
  • Process guest payments for spa/salon services and obtain payment authorization when necessary.
  • Accept and log cash tips for employees and balance receipts with accounting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year related work experience in customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of spa/salon operations and procedures.
