Job Summary

The Swift Group is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure, enterprise computing infrastructure, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security control implementations, including documentation and artifact gathering to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather information and write Systems Security Plans (SSP)/CONOPS in the Greenlight application.
  • Support Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) reviews by ISSO/M and Security Controls Assessor (SCA).
  • Document Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) implementation responses or mitigations, and provide required artifacts.
  • Coordinate with contractor and staff personnel to obtain A&A content, and work with customer security organizations to navigate the customer's A&A process.
  • Monitor A&A projects within the customer's A&A process to determine when re-submission for accreditation or an accreditation extension is necessary.
Requirements
  • 11+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Knowledge of complex network environments involving shared networks and multiple security enclaves.
  • Ability to bridge technical implementation into commonly understood security terms.
  • Proven experience with A&A, RMF, ICD 503 Security Accreditation, and ATO.
  • BA/BS Degree or five additional years' experience in lieu of a degree.
  • US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.

  • Previous ISSE experience directly supporting the customer.
  • Previous ISSO experience directly supporting the customer.
  • Experience with various security tools and reports.
  • Public, private, and hybrid Cloud experience.
  • Virtualization experience.
