As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering individualized care to patients with speech and language disorders, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Speech Therapy services to patients in their homes, as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and engagement in care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and care plans.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted SLP license to practice in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Preferred: One year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute care setting.
