Job Description Summary

As a Staff Underwriter at NATIONAL UNITY INSURANCE COMPANY, you will be responsible for developing a profitable book of Private and Commercial Auto Business to ensure the company's sustainability. Your goal will be achieved by applying the Underwriting policy of the company, which involves analyzing and evaluating risks to provide accurate and competitive insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's Underwriting policy and procedures.
  • Analyze and evaluate risks associated with Private and Commercial Auto Business to provide accurate and competitive insurance solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the company's Auto Insurance portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Underwriting team to ensure consistency and accuracy in risk assessment and policy issuance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance industry software.
  • Strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
