The PRN RN/LPN at Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our members on an as-needed basis. This position is designed to support the overall health and well-being of individuals at our day center, collaborating closely with the team to ensure a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Member Care: Administer medications and nursing treatments as per medical directives.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and assess members' health, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the Administrator.
- Health Education: Provide guidance to members regarding their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and current member records, developing and updating care plans as necessary.
- Care Plan Management: Review and revise care plans at least every six months, along with quarterly nursing notes on each member's status.
- Must possess a valid nursing license in South Carolina, in good standing.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience is preferred, particularly with senior adults or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with members, families, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to complete any necessary background checks and drug screenings.
