A hospitalist opportunity is available for supplemental coverage at Great OH Hospital. The position requires scheduled clinical hours and call. The shift is 7a-7p (2 physicians) and 7p-7a (1 physician).
Daily Encounters:
* 10-15 patients
APP Shifts:
* 7a-7p (2 APPs)
Daily Encounters:
* 7-10 patients
Daily Census:
* 20-25 patients/team
Nightly Admissions:
* Low, 5-10 admissions are considered high
ICU Beds:
* 8 beds (Open ICU)
Specialty Coverages:
* Cardiologist, Neurologist, OB, Pulmonology
Procedures Required:
* Intubation and central lines
Hospitalists respond to codes.
Med Surg Beds/Private Rooms:
* 31 beds, can double if needed
EMR:
* EPIC
Expenses covered, weekly pay, and occurrence form
Malpractice insurance provided.
