Laser Machinist

About the Role:

As a skilled Laser Machinist at Masis Professional Group, you will be responsible for operating laser systems to efficiently cut and process materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.

About You:

• We are looking for an individual with previous experience in operating laser machines or similar equipment.
• A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• You should have effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as physical fitness and strength for working with sheet goods.
• Prior experience in interpreting technical documentation and performing quality control checks is also an asset.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical instructions and work orders to prepare materials for processing.
• Operate laser cutting machines and adjust controls to meet production requirements.
• Manage inventory of supplies and tools used in the laser department.
• Troubleshoot machine control and part program issues.
• Measure parts and inspect files for quality control purposes.
• Load and unload materials onto machines, verifying adherence to specifications.
