Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Champaign, IL. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in procurement and purchasing, with a focus on contract management, vendor relations, and inventory control.

This position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with discretionary company match.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate specifications and complete the purchasing process for equipment and materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure best pricing, timely delivery, and service
  • Support internal teams with contract administration and ensure adherence to established deadlines and procedures
  • Input vendor and purchase order information for logistics, invoicing, and inventory control functions
  • Coordinate delivery of equipment and materials to project sites and other locations
