Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Imaging: Operate MRI scanners to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Patient Preparation: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Procedure Explanation: Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Scan Performance: Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support and adjusting scan parameters as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Supply Management: Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: ARRT (R) certification in MRI required.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in MRI imaging preferred.

Language: English (en-US)
