At BayCare Health System, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatment.
  • Responsible for patient histories, routine lab procedures, and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab.
  • Follow up on test orders and report results to healthcare providers and patients.
  • Provide and maintain patient education materials, maintain medical equipment, and order clinical supplies.
  • Create and maintain patient electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Comply with all OSHA and CLIA regulations.
Requirements:
  • Approved Medical Assistant Certification required within 6 months of hire date or proof of active license/certification.
  • Or EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician)
  • Or Paramedic
  • Or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
  • Required High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred 2 years Medical Assistant
