Bags, a leading provider of transportation services, is seeking a skilled Port Agent - Baggage Handler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth handling of luggage and cargo at our port locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, tag, and load luggage into cages
- Seal cages and load into truck
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Drive delivery box truck safely and lawfully on highways and local streets
- Operate radio to communicate with dispatcher and supervisors
- Unload cages off truck
- Unload luggage from cages
Requirements
Eligible candidates will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be authorized to work in the United States. They will also be able to lift up to 70 pounds consistently throughout the shift and work in various outside weather conditions.
Experience in customer service is preferred, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
