Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Carroll County, Maryland. As a per diem Physical Therapist, you will work on an as-needed basis to cover our clinicians' caseloads, providing high-quality patient care in our outpatient orthopedic centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, developing personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying areas of weakness and developing targeted interventions to address these deficits.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care, communicating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records to inform treatment decisions and ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in physical therapy, enhancing your skills and expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Requirements:

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Physical Therapy.
  • Successful completion of educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift patients using biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift.
  • Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
