Job Overview

Schreiner Group LP is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our Warehouse and Shipping Team.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Logistics Coordinator will execute both clerical and physical tasks to maintain the precision of all orders dispatched and received by the organization.
  • This role involves coordinating and validating all documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments while preparing items for dispatch.
  • Conducts monthly inventory cycle counts and assists in the overall physical inventory assessments.
  • Monitors shipments and secures proof of deliveries, tracing any discrepancies or lost shipments. Communicates any shipment-related issues to the Production Planner and Operations Manager.
  • Performs daily inspections of all equipment utilized for shipping and receiving materials and products, ensuring employee safety and the proper functioning of equipment. Reports any damages or maintenance needs to the Operations Manager and Maintenance Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or higher.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is essential.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using software from common carriers such as FedEx and UPS is required.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Physical capability to lift and lower items.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods.
  • Job activities involve repetitive bending, reaching, walking, stooping, crouching, lifting, and climbing.
