Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for X-Ray procedures under the supervision of licensed technologists.
- Follow radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist supervising technologists and physicians in various imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- Enrolled in an accredited radiology school.
- No prior experience required.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech for oral communication.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
