Surgical Technician

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a shift of 8 hours, days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and setting up equipment and supplies as needed.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a surgical technician program, as required by state regulation of practice or policy.
- 1 year of experience as a surgical technician, preferred.
- BLS certification, required.
- Surgical Technology Certification, preferred.
