Role Summary

We are seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer with a robust background in Kubernetes.

Security Clearance
  • Must possess a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in Kubernetes installation with over three (3) years of experience.
  • Experience managing large OpenSearch deployments.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting distributed applications.
  • Basic knowledge of NiFi administration.
  • Experience in writing and utilizing Salt for configuration management.
  • Proficient in writing and maintaining Helm charts.
  • Basic Git proficiency.
  • Experience with Influx, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with Kafka as a distributed event store and stream processing platform.
  • Experience with the Ceph storage platform.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Rancher, RKE, or K3S based Kubernetes is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (based on years of experience).
  • Up to 20% 401k contribution (no matching required and vested from day one).
  • Competitive hourly rates.
  • $3,200 HSA contribution.
