Job Overview

OCTAGOS HEALTH, INC. is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing Rhythm interpretation on Event Monitors, MCT, Holter and extended Holters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patient's ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilizing OCTAGOS HEALTH, INC. platform.
  • Assess interval measurements and save to the report where required.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of rhythm measurements and communication.
  • Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities to the office staff as required according to physician notification protocol.
  • Review 100% of all Arrhythmia data on Event, MCT and Holter and provide report format modifications and additions as requested.
  • Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, CCT certification.
  • Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other specialty requiring ECG interpretation.
  • You're a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT).
  • Intermediate level PC proficiency.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Great work ethic and a desire to provide high-quality reports to our clients and patients.
