Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU Float

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. As a Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU Float, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing critical care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with a minimum of 18 months of experience in NICU or PICU settings. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU and PICU, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct assessments and develop plans of care for patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Float between the NICU, PICU, and Pediatrics units as needed.
  • Work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Requirements:
  • Indiana State License or compact license (timelines apply).
  • 18 months of recent NICU or PICU experience required.
  • Trauma 1 experience in a children's hospital in the last year required.
  • ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP (required for those placed in L&D), PALS preferred.
  • Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5 skills required.
