SSM Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Complete admitting and shift assessments on assigned patients, including behaviors, accurately and within the time frame set in policy and procedures.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and judgment to analyze patient assessment data and notify physicians of changes in condition.
- Participate in the development, review, and evaluation of multidisciplinary treatment plans as per policies and procedures.
- Document all nursing care given and adhere to nursing standards and ministry policies and procedures.
- Consistently and accurately implement and record physicians' orders.
- Assess and monitor patients and environment for safety within the unit.
- Serve as a clinical resource and supervise care delivered by LPNs and techs.
- Educate patients and families based on assessed needs and document education provided in the Electronic Health Record.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- No experience required.
