Banquet Server Job Description

At Marcus Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read event orders to ensure a smooth execution of events
  • Set, serve, and break down events as outlined by the event orders
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Keep banquet areas, public areas, and storage clean and organized
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure a seamless shift
  • Resolve guest issues and report concerns to managers/supervisors
Requirements:
  • Able and willing to work weekends, early morning, and/or evening shifts
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Prior hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
