Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using various tools and materials including couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, and welding equipment.
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and appliances such as boilers, radiators, air conditioning units, or heaters utilizing hand or power tools.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, managing your own projects from layout to execution.
  • Design the arrangement of HVAC units and piping based on technical drawings.
  • Conduct maintenance on water supply systems.
  • Engage professionally with clients, clearly communicating work orders and progress updates.
  • Demonstrate experience with various piping systems including hot water, chilled water, condenser water, steam, and refrigeration.
  • Perform testing of piping systems using nitrogen, air, and water.
Qualifications:
  • OSHA 30 & SST Certification
  • FDNY G60 & F60 Licenses
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Proficient in handling HVAC and plumbing tools and equipment
  • Must possess the legal ability to work with the necessary documentation.
