About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Traveling Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Specialist. As a key member of our home infusion team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on complex pulmonary arterial hypertension therapies.
  • Assist patients in initiating or transitioning to oral, infused, or inhaled therapies for PAH.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting.
  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as determined by business needs.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered licensure in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area).
  • Minimum of two years of high-tech home infusion experience or minimum of two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions.
  • Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
  • Ability to travel as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
  • Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) or proficiency in other languages.
  • CRNI certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in managing patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
  • Home healthcare and pediatric experience.
