The Physical Therapist role at Rumford Community Home is a per diem, flexible schedule position that makes a direct positive impact on the Western Foothills community by providing one-on-one physical therapy services to the residents of our long-term care facility.

We are an 85-bed active living community offering residential care, secured dementia care, skilled rehabilitation, and long-term care nursing services.

We provide medical care, 24-hour personal care, private and shared rooms, a full calendar of events and activities, laundry, housekeeping, and delicious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates patients and develops a comprehensive treatment plan to restore patients to their maximum functional potential.
  • Directs therapeutic intervention for the restoration of patient's functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
  • Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
  • Provides treatment and instruction to patients according to acceptable principles and practices of Physical Therapy.
  • Collaborates as a member of the health care team for the provision of comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
  • Current BCLS certification.
