Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of the supervisor, receive, categorize, package, and store service components systematically.
    • Retrieve parts as instructed by sales orders or shipping documentation. Prepare items for dispatch, including constructing shipping containers for specific components. Choose the most efficient shipping method.
    • Assist the supervisor in establishing new storage areas and maintain cleanliness and organization in these spaces.
    • Inspect parts prior to shipment to ensure the correct quantity, accurate addresses, fulfillment of all order comments, and appropriate shipping methods are assigned (e.g., UPS, 2nd day, ground).
    • Operate machinery such as Forklifts, Overhead Cranes, and Combilifts.
    • Manage inventory at the designated storage facility.
    • Participate in painting tasks when time allows.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Familiarity with the Taylor Parts System is preferred.
  • Ability to operate Forklifts and Combilifts is required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience or equivalent demonstrated capability.
