DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Woodshop Production Associate/Wood Fabricator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in construction, fabrication, carpentry, or mechanical work. A valid driver's license is mandatory.
The starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the setup of projects and implement work plans effectively.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and adapt as necessary to fulfill project specifications.
- Utilize layout plans to ensure accuracy in measurements and drawings.
- Communicate any project-related issues promptly.
- Perform carpentry and woodworking tasks with precision and care.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn the operation of power tools, including table saws, routers, and staplers.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Engage in cycle counts and inventory management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with forklifts is a plus.
- Strong general math and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Experience in construction, electrical work, fabrication, carpentry, or mechanical fields is advantageous.
