Position Overview:

Our client, a prominent Medical Center affiliated with a leading California Public Ivy university and one of the largest healthcare delivery systems in the state, is in search of a skilled VoIP Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As an integral member of the IT Network Voice team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, efficiency, and security of our VoIP operations.
  • You will oversee the daily operations of the Voice infrastructure.
  • Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation will be required to address any incidents related to the IT network, including routing, switching, and wireless issues.
  • Independently manage operations and project tasks with minimal supervision.

Additional Duties:

  • Configure and troubleshoot components related to IP Phones.
  • Implement VoIP solutions for new clinics.
  • Engage in various VoIP-related projects.
  • Troubleshoot issues with voice gateways.
  • Effectively gather and understand requirements from hospital staff to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Preferred: Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco contact center components.
