About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, identifying and initiating appropriate occupational therapy interventions, and working collaboratively with other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional occupational therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement occupational therapy interventions to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure patient progress
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Rhode Island
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
