Key Responsibilities:
Oversees and directs daily operations to ensure compliance with established protocols.
Assists the General Manager and department heads in completing daily objectives.
Supervises the team to promote high productivity, outstanding performance, and positive workplace morale.
Collaborates with Deck Supervisors and Golden Teachers regarding class schedules, student progress, customer service, and staff training and performance.
Guides the retail and vending operations to ensure an appropriate selection of products and pricing strategies.
Trains and supervises private event staff to uphold operational standards.
Acquires knowledge and expertise in all technological systems to ensure proficiency in bookings, scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks.
Develops a thorough understanding of pool operations to guarantee member satisfaction and comprehension.
Leads the execution of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety protocols relevant to the facility, training all staff on these procedures.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider is required. A minimum of two years as a swimming instructor is preferred.
Certifications:
Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Certified Pool Operator certifications are mandatory. Lifeguard Instructor certification is highly recommended.
Each Goldfish Swim School operates as an independently owned franchise. The franchisee is the employer at each location, with the ability to establish their own compensation, benefits, and employment conditions, which may differ across locations.
