Garage Door Installer Trainer Job Description

Banko Overhead Doors is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Garage Door Installer Trainer. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional training and communication skills, coupled with hands-on experience in the garage door installation industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new garage door installers, covering installation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Mentor and coach new installers as they gain experience in the field, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
  • Demonstrate proper use of hand tools and equipment used in garage door installation and service.
  • Ensure that all installations are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and update training materials and curriculum as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while interacting with team members and customers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a field trainer or equivalent managerial role in the garage door industry.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and equipment commonly used in garage door installation.
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt training methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
