ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating and treating patients with advanced medical diagnostic and treatment techniques.
- Coordinating discharge planning in collaboration with case management.
- Participating in initiatives aimed at enhancing cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
- Accepting patient referrals and acting as the attending physician for hospitalized patients.
- Engaging in academic programs, including medical education and research.
- Providing thorough documentation that meets insurance requirements and addressing any denials promptly.
- Participating in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, which may include on-call duties.

QualificationsLicensure/Certification: Must possess a valid Physician MD/DO credential from the Maryland Board of Physicians prior to employment. Board certification or eligibility in the specialty is required.
Education: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree is required.
