Job Summary

The Phlebotomist III- Float is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our Patient Service Centers/Mobile/Long Term Care/In-Office Phlebotomy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients, and explaining procedures in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure daily activities are completed accurately and on time, prioritizing tasks in a high-volume setting.
  • Act as a coach, mentor, and resource advisor for new employees, providing effective onboarding services and regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
  • Collaborate with multiple functions, including Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT connectivity, Billing, and Logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
